In January 2017, I was looking at engagement rings. By February, I had gotten rid of my NYC apartment to move upstate to be closer to my partner. By June, I had no partner, nowhere to live, and a full-time remote job. That's how "Eat, Drive, Fuck" was born.
I spent a year and a half on the road with no budget, eating at the best restaurants, going to the best spas, moseying around the best bookstores, and living in the best Airbnbs in 6 major cities. Oh, and while all of this was happening, I was dating for the first time as a single sex columnist for Playboy, and driving across the country and back completely on my own.
